Woodrow L. Scott is the Co-Founder and Managing Director for The Obodo Project (TOP), with strategic initiative over business development, information technology, and project management. Prior to TOP, Woodrow worked 15 years at leading management consulting firms delivering comprehensive client solutions across industry to some of the world’s largest and most complex organizations. He currently serves as CEO and Managing Partner of CROWNED, LLC, providing business advisory and project management services to entrepreneurs, startups, and small businesses. He is a member of the Georgetown University African American Advisory Board and has served in numerous corporate social responsibility leadership roles at schools and Boys & Girls Clubs throughout Washington. Woodrow lives in Northeast DC with his wife and two children. When not working or reading, he enjoys music, dining, sports, and travel. Woodrow earned his BS in finance from Georgetown University, McDonough School of Business and an MBA from Rice University, Jones Graduate School of Business.
Douglas Franklin is the Co-Founder and Managing Director for TOP with responsibilities over programming, marketing, and human resources. Prior to TOP, Doug engaged in organizational behavior research, focusing on teams, diversity, and workplace mistreatment. His contributions have been presented at the Academy of Management (AOM), and the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) Conferences. Most recently, he was a contributor to a research manuscript featured in The Leadership Quarterly. Prior to his research experience, Doug has served in consulting projects in non-profit and for-profit sectors, which included marketing, and business development services. Doug also has marketing and management experience with several Fortune 500 companies. He currently engages in small business consulting in Northwest Houston and enjoys writing, volunteering, sports, and playing video games with his son. Doug earned his BS in Business Administration from Florida A&M University, School of Business and Industry, His MS in Management from Texas A&M University Mays Business School and an MBA from Rice University, Jones Graduate School of Business.
